Looking for some great fun? Get ready for zany and crazy good times at the Earl Warren Showgrounds on April 22-26, 2009 for the 20th annual Santa Barbara Fair & Expo. Come be a part of "Going Hog Wild"! This exciting scene will have plenty of action – from carnival rides to delicious Fair treats to sightings of far out livestock.
The Fair & Expo midway will light up each day with more than 30 rides and attractions, offering fun, excitement and a happening time for the entire family. Come "Hang out " at our outdoor stages and be entertained by singers, dancers, musicians and performers.
Grab your friends and head over to Old McWarren’s Farm to check out the expo showcase of local foods, wine and beer, arts and crafts, horticulture and fine arts displays. It will be a blast tasting free samples of the featured desserts, appetizers and other scrumptious foods in the Fair & Expo Cooking Contest, offered daily at the Old McWarren's Farm.
Want to experience some really cool stuff? Check out the Arena and paddocks beyond to view cattle, goats, sheep and poultry as they compete for blue ribbons. You will also see exotic animals, a full Kid's Carnival and Petting Zoo.
Before you head out, grab the kids and head over to the Extreme Pigs Pavillion. Here, the whole family can hang and check out the interactive displays. You will also be able to see artwork, photography, pottery and some other great projects that are being worked on in our community by kids.
